Experience and Training
I have been working as a therapist in private practice for over 20 years. During this time I have counseled patients struggling with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, parenting difficulties, body image, relationship struggles, infidelity, and work problems. My client population is very diverse in terms of gender, religion, ethnic background, and sexual orientation.
I obtained my Masters of Social Work from New York University and I have advanced clinical training from Washington Square Institute in New York City. Over the years I served as a counselor in many different settings including Planned Parenthood, Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services, and a wide variety of mental health clinics. I have additional advanced training in the areas of relationships, marriage counseling, infidelity, and divorce.
In addition to counseling individuals and couples as a therapist, I am committed to offering insights and advice that are accessible to a wide audience. I contribute to articles featured in publications such as Bustle, Man Repeller, Huffington Post, Brides, and others on an ongoing basis.
